Ignas Lukanga is a self-motivated youth with professional expertise and diverse experience on working with the non-profit organizations on designing and implementing different programs on Education, Community and centre Based ECD, Nutrition, Child protection, Civic awareness, Entrepreneurship and youth empowerment. Also well skilled in conducting project baseline surveys, Project M&E, and Household Surveys. Currently working with SAWA-Tanzania as an ECD programs officer and Child protection focal person.

He’s a social worker by profession and a member of Tanzania Youth Vision Association (TYVA), who also served in a leadership as Head of Lobbying, Advocacy and Network (LAN) from 2017-2020. He formed part to represent and design various youth policy advocacy programs/projects in TYVA as a volunteer then Ho-LAN through his active engagement in different youth crosscutting policy advocacy coalitions in Tanzania such as TAYARH, Action Aid International Youth Working Group, Activista as well as Youth CSOs & Parliamentarians engagement coalition and helps to shape youth related policy agendas and plans. He is passionate in good governance and accountability.

He is a young Tanzanian youth worker, He served as a volunteer under treasurer and finance department since 2014 then later on he was elected a Treasurer at Tanzania Youth Vision Association (TYVA) from 2017-2020. He was an executive committee member at TYVA then an assistant project accountant for Youth Employment Initiative Dar Es Salaam (YEID) project, a team leader for Youth Engagement in Governance and Accountability project and the like. He’s strength has been in finance professionally and personally since his first introduction at TYVA.
